COMPETITION for the best article (journalistic writing)
PARTICIPANTS
Everyone regardless of nationality can participate in the contest. The only requirement is that you are fluent in English (or Spanish)
PARTICIPATION
The articles can be sent from the 10th of November onwards, the deadline being the 20th of November 2012.

CONTENT
The article will be of maximum 1000 words long and the topic is: IRONMAN 70.3 LANZAROTE 2012.
The article must be handed in as a word document with the following information:

Links or other bibliographic references used for documentation
You can submit only one article per name, Facebook or Twitter account.
The name used publicly will be the nickname. Personal information will be kept by Club La Santa in a data base.
The articles must be original and not previously published in any (online or printed) media.
JURY AND VALUATION
The jury consists of 5 people, editors, writers, journalists and/or blogwriter triathletes, who will point mark the articles.
As the articles are being read and passed on to the jury for final evaluation, the articles might be translated to Spanish, French, German or Danish and published on the Club La Santa’s different websites (www.clublasanta.com -.es, .dk, .de www.ironman703lanzarote.com, .es, Facebook.com/ClubLaSanta, Facebook.com/IronmanLanzarote…) so the users of the webpages can read (and comment) them too.
ACCEPTANCE OF CONDITIONS
Participation in the contest requires full acceptance of the rules.

USE OF ARTICLES
The author gives Club La Santa authority to publish the article without right of revocation. The article will at any time be published with the name or nickname of the author. The articles in the contest (finalists or not) may be used without prior notice by Club La Santa, in full length or part of it.
CATEGORY AND PRIZE
There is only one category.
PRIZES
1st Prize: one week stay at Club La Santa in a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 people with half board and free use of sports facilities, as well as an entry to the Wellness Center, to be used before the 30th of September 2013 (subject to availability at time of booking), publication of the article (if in Spanish) in the Spanish Magazine Sportraining or (if in English) in The Gazette, subscription of one year to the magazine Sportraining or The Gazette, and a Sportraining T-shirt.
2nd and 3rd prizes: week-end (2 nights) stay at Club La Santa in a 1 bedroom apartment for max. 3 adults + 1 child, accommodation and use of sports facilities to be used before the 30th of September 2013 (subject to availability at time of booking)
4th prize:Free Rent-a car for 1 weekend from Hertz Canarias - Grupo Faycan
5th prize: set of Ladival sunscreen products
The winners will be publicly announced latest on the 10th of December 2012, both on the organization’s websites and by press release.
