Best Video
For the celebration of the first IRONMAN 70.3 LANZAROTE, which will take place in La Santa, Tinajo in Lanzarote the 10th of November 2012, Club La Santa presents the contest for the “BEST VIDEO”, which purpose is to raise awareness of this sports event and the beauty of Lanzarote through movement.
THEME
Videos will show action from before, during and/or after the IRONMAN 70.3 LANZAROTE race, focusing on any of its aspects, both from within the organization as the point of view of the participants, the volunteers or spectators regardless of during which of the three disciplines. It is optional if the triathletes should be central theme in the video or play a smaller part. Images taken outside the closed areas will be highly appreciated. Top 10 men and women finish images are excluded from the contest.
PARTICIPANTS
Open for both amateurs and professionals, except to anyone with official accreditation.
REGISTRATION
The videos must be submitted before the 20th of November 2012 at 12 am (noon). The videos must be original and not previously published. By presenting a video to the contest, the participant automatically declares to be the owner and author of the video, that it is original and has not been published before.
ADMISSIONWORKAND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Each participant can submit a maximum of three videos. The video or link to the downloadable file (use a sharing platform such as Dropbox, Yousendit or Transferbigfiles) must be sent to bestvideo@clublasanta.com and needs to fulfill the following requirements:
Up to three videos in H264 or MPEG HD format, of 90 seconds length max. and with a resolution of 1280x720. The name of the attached video -file should be the same as its title.
Please attach a word document with contact information of the author; address, phone number and e-mail address.
The winning videos must be sent in original formats for promotional actions of the contest and the event, both for the present and future editions.
JURY
The jury consists of two audiovisual professionals and one member of the IRONMAN 70.3 LANZAROTE organization.
PRIZES
1st Prize: one week stay at Club La Santa in a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 people with half board and free use of sports facilities, as well as an entry to the Wellness Center, to be used before the 30th of September 2013 (subject to availability at time of booking)
2nd and 3rd prizes: week-end (2 nights) stay at Club La Santa in a 1 bedroom apartment for max. 3 adults + 1 child, accommodation and use of sports facilities to be used before the 30th of September 2013 (subject to availability at time of booking)
4th prize:Free Rent-a car for1 weekend from Hertz Canarias - Grupo Faycan
5th prize: a set of products from Ladival
The winners will be publicly announced latest on the 10th of December 2012, both on the organization’s websites and by press release.
WINNERS AND RIGHTS
The authors of all participating videos agree that the videos may be posted on Youtube, provided the author’s name is mentioned.
The authors of the winning videos give Club La Santa, as organizer of this contest and IRONMAN 70.3 LANZAROTE full right of use, dissemination, distribution, public communication, exhibition and reproduction which have to do with promotion or cultural purposes, but always whilst indicating the author’s name.
The participants guarantee and are responsible for compliance with the intellectual property and the rights of the videos submitted and that dissemination and/or reproduction of the video in the context doesn’t harm or in any other damage others.
ACCEPTANCE
The participants in this competition implies full acceptance of each and every part of the contest and the final decision made by the jury.
