The show, commented in French by the triathlete Cyrille Neveu, is on the whole IRONMAN 70.3 LANZAROTE Canarias Spain 2012 race, organized by Club La Santa, together with the local government, last 10th of November.
The 1.9Km swim took it's start on the beach at the lagoon next to Club La Santa, the nº1 Sports Resort in the World. Then, 90.1Km to the north of the island, including a stunning climb of 550m from km44.3 to km56.1, to finalize with a 3 loop covering 21.1km run in the surroundings of Club La Santa.
This inaugural race counted with eighthundred entries, and the 2012 winners were the Spanish three times Olympic triathlete Iván Raña on his very first try over the distance, and Dutch Danne Boterenbrood.
